Ewe lambs lead Worcester sale at 800gns 

Badger Face Texels saw a top call of 800gns on Saturday 2nd December for the first Society sale at Worcester. Taking this top call was a ewe lamb from Steven Ley and Hannah Payne, Liskeard, Cornwall. Tordown Edna is by Whatmore Babdit and out of a homebred female by an imported tup. This one went to previous Texel buyer, Trevor Prew.

Next up at 600gns was another ewe lamb from Huw and Kate Williams, Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire. Banc Elegant is by Llwyn Derw Yogi Bear and out of a homebred female by Hackney Yes-Man. This one caught the eye of Louise Winsor, Seaworthy, Devon. The same buyer also took home Banc Emma, another ewe lamb from the Williams family, this time for 550gns. This one is by Hackey Yes-Man and out of Turbo Das, a Turbo Blues Breda daughter. 

Averages: Four ewe lambs £656.25 (McCartneys).
