Badger Faced Texel trade hit a high of 1500gns at Welshpool for Jessops Firefox a ram lamb from Paula Jessop, Leicestershire. This son of High Ploughlands Ernie is out of Woodies Belinda, an imported dam and sold to S Duggan, Brecon.

Second best at 1200gns was shearling ewe Llwyn Derw Elizabeth from Richard Davies, Newtown. Sired by Cleenagh Paddy Power and out of an imported dam, she was taken by J and J Bugden and Sons, Southampton.
Then at 880gns was a ewe lamb from the same home, Llwyn Derw Foxglove. She’s by Banc Emperor and out of Llwyn Derw Dixie and was another bought by Messrs Bugden.
And then making 750gns was Llwyn Derw Ethel, again from Richard Davies. Another by Cleenagh Paddy Power, she’s out of a Cleenagh dam and was also the pick of Messrs Bugden.
After that came a 720gns call for Llwyn Dewr Footloose. She’s a full ET sister to Llwyn Dewr Foxglove and sold to A and S Owen, Newtown.
